What is easier between to love or be loved?

Instead of being a difficult or confusing topic as on one point of time 'to love' or 'to be loved' both seems to be easier(if one who loves gets the equal quality of love in reciprocation, or someone accepts you & loves you with your flaws)as well as difficult( if the person whom one loves doesn't loves back or inspite of having no interest in him, he loves you diligently.), my personal opinion or selection is 'to love'. I prefer to love is much easier than to be loved.To prove my point, I can explain.
As stated by me, to love is something on which you have pretty control. Though, certainly love happens sometimes suddenly or unknowingly & always in an unplanned manner.Whenever it is least expected it occurs.But after suffering from the feeling of love (intense or slight) it is totally dependent on us to tackle with it.Sometimes we hide it,& sometimes we show.It depends on us that because of it we can uplift ourselves (to prove self before the person we love, or to become capable for him/her,it makes us a good human & a better person just unknowingly while making yourself worthy of her/him. It makes you strong & kind.) & also to destroy oneself( by leaving the path of success,turning off our eyes from the goals to be achieved,to totally fading away in the fantasies & thoughts of him/her etc.)
But to be loved by someone is totally out of our control & reach.It depends on that person that how much he/she loves you & because of that,how will they behave.To be loved sometimes could be very dangerous,if the person who loves you is psycho or very passionate about you & can even destroy you if you don't accept him/her.Will totally interfere in your life, & doesn't let others to be close to you.
Moreover, to love is something in which you set paradigms & can do whatever the better for that person without harming him/her,its in your hands to love them flawlessly but in most cases people doesn't love you they way you want to be loved actually,later creating problems for you.
According to me,there are more downs than ups in loving someone,but its better to feel pain than apathy.Though love sometimes makes you vulnerable but at the end makes you human.
