Since childhood days.
Not because of just reading hobby,
But also the beautiful swimming pool inherited.

The heart of kolkata,
& the place which hosts its needies,literary crowd.
Feeds with best collection,
Not only just around kolkata but outside the city aswell.

The place exhibiting two busiest metro stations,
&the most famous Indian coffee house.
A complete package of official locality,
Composed of colleges universities shops &offices.

A land embracing people of all categories,
Representing what kolkata actually is.
The stall-owners are living encyclopedia,
Helping to find rarerest of rare books.

The street named such,
Because of the homeland of so many colleges.
The academic hub of the city,
Promoting art culture & education.

Though, the lane doesn't connect,
To every part of the city through local buses.
Making journeys sometimes really tough & tiring,
Yet remains the ultimate hope for readers.

A place though famous for books&diaries,
Yet the land constitutes good markets of saree&suits as well.
The morning view of the plot is just awesome,
Composed of all big&small vendors,
Of vegetables,fruits,meat&variety of fishes.
A region of occupation,
For 100s of coconut-water vendors.
Varying with the range of Rs.12 to 30.

To the extent of calling,

While crossing the stalls.
Making you even laugh sometimes if in group.
Or even irritating you the most if it was a harsh & tiry day.

& also the owner of so many shops of bags&umbrellas.
Though its not famous,
But I would like to mention the shop of just potatochips near Purbhi cinema,
Which makes the best chips with reasonable price in whole city.
Yet opens after 4pm.
