Welcome 2019!

Again a new year arrived,
&I welcome you with warmth&love,
Along with sky-high expectations,
Expectation of betterment,
Expectation of support,love,happiness &success.
Expectation of justice to its seekers,
Expectation of declining evil-ity,
&implementation of law&order correctly.

I welcome you&appreciate the ones,
Who welcome you as well with full joy, enthusiasm&happiness.
But the thing which makes me wonder,
&never let me enjoy the day extensively,
Is really something new have arrived?

Except the date of the calendar,
Nothing have changed.
Through the same old method the sun rose&even sets.
The same life-style goes on.
I'm in my same house in the same bedroom.
The same goals are to be achieved.
The same work-pressure&even the same people we meet.
Nothing really have changed.

The bunch of garbage is still persisting,
In the neighbor of my house.
The same trmendous traffic jam is present,
Irritating us,making us frustrated.
The same old creepy fellows moves on the street,
In buses&metros,in streets&places,
Bullying or even practicing crime.
The same old pick-pocketing takes place,
&as same old way all crimes are taking place.
Nothing really changed.

The same lie&fraud is going on with public,
By those same old big named politicians,
The same rustic corruption's stains,
Are still present on everyone's shirts& kurtas.
The same lame system continues,
Supporting the guilty elites&dejecting those poor sufferers.
The same old struggles goes around,
In the name of tummy.
&In the same way conflicts goes on,
Between those Hindu-muslim or in the name of race.
Nothing really changed.

Even the revolution of earth around sun is same,
&the western land dominates all of us.
Still women are harrassed& disrespected,
&still child-abuse&rapes continues.
Still all blemishes persists as they were before,
&still the common man doesn't turn a hair.
Nothing really changed.
.
Still I wish all the ones,
Who have shopped for this day from a fortnight before,
&partied hard last night,
Drenched in music&booze.
Or even those who found their own ways to celebrate.
Still I wish to all the ones,
Who will celebrate it today with bloom.
