Arrival Of Guests
Whether guest arrives for hours,
Or turn up for days,
Arrives with ample of changes.
Changes can be in self-lifestyle,
& also can be in the organisation of home.
Changes can be in our attire,
& also in the attitude we persists.

Though the changes varies with duration,
& also accord to the closeness in relation.
But whatever it may be,
Changes always remains in positive dimension.
Transforming into better in outlook & system aswell.
Even at times the dream fantasy look.

As soon mom gets news,
News of the arrival of guest for the evening,
Better snacks & good dinner is arranged,
Better dinner set & beautiful glasses,
Are cloistered from that mystery box.
& whatever be the situation,
The preparation remains in its peak till the end moment.
.
But as she accomplishes the news,
The news of influx of guests for days,
The biggest tension she suffers from,
'Where to accommodate them in the small city flats?".
Preparations begins for 4 days before,
& it seems the house is getting renovated.
Dusting of walls & furniture,
Changing of curtains & bed-sheets.
Retreating new essentials from the mystery box,
& dominating papa to purchase new necessities.
It literally seems like Eid has arrived,
Or even something big.
& at last in the end,it seems to be like it always should have been.
.
I still remember the days of my childhood,
When arrival of guests only denoted,
Delicious foods, chocolates & gifts,
& while returning back may be a note of Rs.100 or 500 if lucky.
Which lately got deposited to mom or papa.
(My all time bank account of childhood).
But now as we grew up,
& got experienced through the taste of hosting,
It's not everyone's cup of tea & is a really difficult job to perform,
Is the things I leant.
.
Mom always relates guests as angels,
Or a source of portrayal of happiness by Allah(SW).
But now after looking to these busy schedules,
Rising competition & the evolving technology,
The social life & guest-ive have faded somewhere,
Making hosting & guests no less than burdens.
Which is really alarming & fearful to the term called 'humanity'.
