Shifting

The time now have arrived,
Time for shifting from one residence to another.
Excitement is blooming inside,
Along with the emotion of melancholy & un-definable void.

Enthusiasm is gushing through veins,
Circulating in-spite of blood.
With the thought of own big mansion.
As the misery & pain of flats,
Will only be known by flat-holder.

Thought of big personal room & defined separate rooms for all purpose,
A huge terrace,
For sitting on a windy day, sleeping in the summer night & dancing in the rainfall.
The trees of coconut, lichi, jamun, guava & mangoes,
Extinguishing the greedy inner hunger.
A complete lifestyle protecting privacy from neighbours.
Eager me for shifting.

But as the time gradually passes,
& the days arrives of transfer.
An defined grief makes home inside,
Tearing me apart with the thought,
Of excavation from old one.

In-spite of all the issues & prejudice,
It yet also seemed our own.
Providing shelter, happiness, success,
Introducing colours of life, making us emotionally attached.

It contains trillions of memories at every corner,
Some happy some funny & even some sad.
The memories of our childhood days,
Scrambling & toddling  everywhere.
The memories of some near & dear ones,
Who no longer exists now with us.
The memories which we can't pack-up,
& carry with ourselves.
The memories very close to our hearts.

At last the day arrived,
Of complete shifting.
Now making my heart believe,
Of making new memories at new place.
Starting up again,heading towards happily.
With a tear in my eyes.
