Religion & Politics

Yes, of course! 'Religion' & 'Politics' doesn't seem to be relevant to each-other, but at the end of the day comes under one roof. Just not in the present scenario, but also the history is evident of their side-by-side relation.
Religion always played an important role in the political(situations & actions) of the country, manipulating the condition towards worse. Wether in the early-vedic era of Brahmanisation or of the age of Buddhism & Jainism or since, the age of Catholicism till the era of Delhi-Sultans/ Mughals religion enforced itself in the methods & norms of administration, weakening & destructing it just for the word 'Supremacy'.
This 'religion', through it's forcibly implementation, inculcated hatred distress turbulence & agitation in common people, rupturing into groups,(one: upper-class, holding the banner of religion & second: lowe-class, people who acts puppets of upper-class believing that they are always correct as they have direct link to God) & demarcating  into 'superior' & 'inferior' in aspect of power. Where religion took away people from barbarity & boorishness & built fear of God inside prohibiting from doing sins , at the same time dragged us to vulgarity, enmity, inhumanity & cruelty with either the people of same religion but of lower cast or with people of other religions.
I'm sorry to say, but today, personalizing the politics through religion is the letter of the day. Daily display of crimes like molestation, lynching, riots, rapes, kidnapping etc in news is the shade of the colour 'religion deliberately merging into politics'.
I,lastly, end-up saying that Religion is absolutely very important for a better building society, but at the same time should practised individually according to own faith & sholud never be mixed with politics, gradually loosening its original essence & turning into a poison for the social life.
As," too many spices spoils the broth".
